About The Event
The Performing Arts Conservatory opens its holiday season with “The Nutcracker Story.” It is a story like no other, told through the eyes of teenagers. The Nutcracker, which is traditionally a ballet, received a bit of a twist as the students share their version of the story in a current and modern way. This beautiful holiday favorite, infused with jazz music arranged by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn is a Nutcracker like no other.
